Volunteering with the Millbrook Educational Foundation gives you a chance to be a part of strengthening our public schools and making a difference in the lives of the children in our community. Whether you want to volunteer on a regular basis or just occasionally, there are a number of opportunities available to you. Any time you can share will be greatly appreciated.
If you are a resident in the Millbrook Central School District and have an interest to join MEF and work to enhance our public school programs please consider the following criteria.
We are looking for candidates that have some experience in
- event planning
- finance
- website design
- public relations
- grant writing
- non-profit boards
- and most importantly a keen interest in strengthening our students’ educational opportunities.
If you choose to join in this effort consider the obligation to regularly attend monthly meetings (usually the 3rd Thursday of the month), work on at least one of several sub committees, participate in our annual Taste of Millbrook and Annual Appeal and serve a three year term (which is renewable three times).
