MEF’s mission is planning for the future – our children’s futures. It is important that they are prepared in the best possible way to take on future leadership roles in our communities. They are our employees, employers and civic leaders of the next generation. It is in our deepest interests that they have the best educational opportunities possible so that they are prepared for the complexities of life in the 21st century.
With this in mind, the Millbrook Educational Foundation created an endowment. Together with the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, the Millbrook Educational Foundation Endowment will ensure that MEF’s work would continue long into the future. This endowment will allow MEF to continue to be a vibrant partner with the Millbrook Central School District.
This is an exciting step as we build the endowment each year and in turn it provides MEF with an annual revenue stream that will grow as investments grow. MEF is committed to delivering enrichment, technology and arts programs to the MCSD for the long term and our endowment will support us in doing that.
